GETTING TO KNOW THE CHEF
Chef Atsushi Yokoyama is originally from Yokohama, Japan, and came to the United States 27 years ago to work with Chef Takashi Abe in Newport Beach. Atsushi started Hana re alongside Fred Fukushima so he could pursue his passion for food while selecting seasonable ingredients from California farms and fresh fish from Japan.
Atsushi was crowned Chef of the Year by Orange County Register in 2016.
